What did Sue eat at the Fair give-away!
First off, let me remind you that even if you entered previous days, you can enter once EACH DAY of the give-away. Choose a different menu to increase your odds, of course!
A look at the six prizes that will be given away (read the fine print at the end of this post for the ways winners will be determined, etc.):
Monday I introduced you to Roseann Kearmes, owner of Rosebud’s Cottage in St. Paul, who donated the two table mat kits. Tuesday was Celine Perkins’ day of Perkins Drygoods, and we’re giving away a great little runner pattern of Celine’s. Today is Sherri Falls’ day, creator of This & That patterns!
By the way, all prizes are brand-new 2012 patterns/kits/tools — no leftovers here — from Rosebud’s Cottage.
Sherri’s pattern is for a darling runner with embroidered snowmen called “Let it Snow”, and you would have plenty of time to get it done before winter sets in. Her designs always have a fresh look to me, and her embroidery patterns are very sweet. Be sure and look for our Minnesota designers in your quilt shops!
So…what did I eat last Thursday at the Minnesota State Fair??? Three food items, one from each category below:
Main Dish: Spaghetti & Meatballs on a stick, Teriyaki Ostrich on a stick, Hot Fresh Turkey Sandwich, Lamb Chops on a stick, or Alligator on a stick.
Side Dish: Deep-fried Green Pepper Rings, MN Corn on the Cob, Mango on a stick, Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Swiss Cheese on a stick.
Dessert: Fudge Puppies, Deep-Fried Candy Bar, Cream Puff, Deep-Fried Fruit on a Stick, Butterscotch Cake on a stick
Leave a comment to this post with three food items (one main dish, one side dish, one dessert) to be eligible to win. And here’s the “fine print”:
Fine Print: Winners will be posted Saturday, September 8th. If there are more than six people with all three foods chosen correctly, I will award additional prizes. If there are fewer than six with three correct answers, I will do a random drawing to bring the number of winners up to six. And you can enter up to FIVE times, once each day this week (Monday – Friday).
