I’m back from Judy’s “EX” rated retreat — I’m EXcited, EXhausted, and EXtremely glad that I went!
Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, and I know for certain that I did. The amount of sewing that was done was AMAZING! I’ll post some pictures later, but since it’s Monday, it’s time to show what I’m working on.
Here is the bulk of what I did at the retreat (Irish Stars). Now I’m figuring out what to add for borders. I want to add width to the sides but not much extra on the top and bottom. Nothing like a challenge! I have Electric Quilt and Judy’s latest book (which is about borders) to guide me.
This quilt is my January Color Palette Challenge, hosted by Judy Laquidara and created by Vicki Welsh. I love it so far!
WOW…beautiful! Love the colors!!!
Stunning! I love it!
oh goodness that is just gorgeous! Love the quilt and those are my favorite colors.
I love the top and the colors are ‘sew’ you! Glad you had such fun.
Whew! For a minute there I thought you must’ve been still around when we were talking about Vince’s back rubs with all that “x-rated” stuff! 🙂
Your quilt is so beautiful . . even more so in real life!
Sounds like you ladies just had tooooo much fun! Judy blogged pictures of quilts that participants worked on and I recognized yours. It is gorgeous! Love your design and fabric choices.
Really nice quilt. I do like those stars amongst the Irish Chain
Your quilt looks wonderful! I can’t wait to see what you do for the borders. It was great to meet you at the retreat.
I wish I could have been there it looked like so much fun! Your quilt is coming along beautifully!
