My “Elvis”

ElvisElvis is my Gammill Classic Plus longarm quilting machine.  “Classic” refers to the throat size (the distance from the inside back of the machine to the needle).  “Plus” refers to the stitch regulator.  The stitch regulator controls the length of the stitches and the speed of the needle going up and down.  The result is I can vary the speed that I move the machine, but the stitch length remains constant.  I have a 12-foot table.  Gammill also offers a 14-foot table, but that wouldn’t fit into my room!

The longarm can be “driven” from the front or the back of the machine, and there are duplicate controls on both the front and back.
