I’ve done a lot of sewing since I last checked in with you. Â I’ve made a few more of the Diva Frame Wallets:
I also did a January purse called the Backgammon Bag, designed by Betz White. Â It is part of a purse of the month subscription, but the pattern will be available for individual purchase I think in July. Â I liked the pattern very much, but I am going to remake it using a foam interfacing. Â It is too floppy for my taste, but it is a nice bag!
Work around the condo included re-covering the seats of our dinette chairs (does anybody use the word “dinette” any more???) Â And sorry, weird color in this shot. Â It was at night, and I couldn’t get it to look natural.
Some of my favorite images taken in Texas this winter were part of a series of sunrise shots. Â My goal was to take 30 days of sunrises. Â HAH! Â I’m a night owl by nature, and I could only manage 10 or 11. Â A sampling:

Beautiful sunrises! The postmark on the fabric in the top photo is in reverse. Is that how the fabric is printed?
I like the backgammon pattern very much. — my current project is made from New York Beauty blocks with spiky units, so I think I’m attracted to anything that resembles them.
Thank you, Nann, for your sharp eye! No, my photo is somehow reversed. (I had to go look at the wallet to be sure…) I have no idea why, but I must have done something to it when I took it, and actually I think I took it with my phone. One of life’s little brain malfunctions! Thanks for visiting and commenting.
