I’ve done a lot of sewing since I last checked in with you. I’ve made a few more of the Diva Frame Wallets:
I also did a January purse called the Backgammon Bag, designed by Betz White. It is part of a purse of the month subscription, but the pattern will be available for individual purchase I think in July. I liked the pattern very much, but I am going to remake it using a foam interfacing. It is too floppy for my taste, but it is a nice bag!
Work around the condo included re-covering the seats of our dinette chairs (does anybody use the word “dinette” any more???) And sorry, weird color in this shot. It was at night, and I couldn’t get it to look natural.
Some of my favorite images taken in Texas this winter were part of a series of sunrise shots. My goal was to take 30 days of sunrises. HAH! I’m a night owl by nature, and I could only manage 10 or 11. A sampling:
