I have another Lucy Boston block almost done (some of the edge pieces aren’t stitched yet:
They are so much fun to do. Â I have also been working on making “parts”, the individual honeycomb pieces that get stitched together. Â It takes 24 honeycomb parts to make this block.
I also started Pat Sloan’s Mystery block of the month for 2015 (and it’s FREE). Â I am making mine queen size, so I will need to make two or three blocks each month (instead of one). Â January’s block:
And my camera has been busy this month as well. Â Here is my favorite shot, a young (probably second year) Roseate Spoonbill, leaping out of the water after a bit of dinner. Â He had the late afternoon sun at his back.
