I finished the Bow Tucks Tote Bag this week, and just love how it turned out. Â I will definitely make this one again:
I also finished my Christmas table runner, but I forgot to take a completed photo before sending it off to our County Fair. Â Here is a shot of it being quilted:
And I just have to mention…there was a LOT of stitching in the ditch in the quilting I did.  I used some new rulers I purchased a month ago or so, and I LOVE them!  They made the ditching go so much easier, and it looks better too.  They are by Quilters Apothecary.  Not affiliated…just a pleased customer.
And a photo. Â An extreme close-up shot of a white-faced meadowhawk dragonfly. Â This is a little dragonfly, only about 1″ long. Â She’s standing on a spirea bloom, and I loved the kind of confetti effect.
.
Photography continues to take up a lot of my time. Â I’ve been participating in the 365 Project dot org, and I will have completed my year on Thursday of taking a photo a day to post on the site. Â I am looking forward to cutting back a bit! Â I’m including a photo of a baby Cooper’s Hawk in the header. Â Mr. & Mrs. Cooper have a nest in the woods behind us, and I’ve been anxiously awaiting the arrival of their chicks. Â It appears they have two.

Baby Cooper’s Hawk looks like he’s playing peek-a-boo with you and the dragonfly photo is awesome! Love your bag and hope your table runner wins a prize.
Love the photos! The dragonfly especially.
