I’m still working on the Hitchhiker shawl/scarf, but I’m closing in. Â I have 35 points done out of 42. Â Of course, the rows get longer every time I even look at it!
Pattern: Â Hitchhiker, by Martina Behm
Yarn: Â Crazy Zauberball, Colorway 2136, “Spring is Here”
I’m using a little larger needles than called for. Â I think they are #5 circular needles. Â The texture of the scarf is kind of a boucle’ fabric, and I am really liking it. Â I figure three more sessions of knitting, and I will be ready to do my first blocking.

I am not a knitter but between you and Judy L. I might have to try it. I love the colors in the yarn you are working on. It looks beautiful.
It’s absolutely gorgeous. I really need to do this pattern!
Oh so pretty and close to finished ~ that’s exciting.
That is beautiful, Sue! You know I love Judy and she DOES have good taste and is a wonderful giving person…..but she sure is hard on my budget!!!!
Love the colors, Sue!
Love the colors! This pattern is in my queue!
Love your Hitchhiker. That yarn is perfect for it! Those last “teeth” do take a really long time but it’s so nice to be able to mindlessly knit and get them done.
Oh so pretty, pretty, pretty. I think it’s great so many of us are working on the same project. I wonder who influenced that? 🙂
Hmmmm, I wonder??? Could it be…another JUDY? I have viewed Judy L’s queue on Ravelry and copy-catted a number of them. The woman has good taste.
I like how this is striping. The one I made had similar colors.
I’ve been thinking about trying this pattern, but I’ve never blocked my knitting so that rather worries me.
Yours looks fabulous.
Beautiful! I want to try that pattern soon.
