Two knitting projects in the works. Â First is a fun pair of socks made with this cool two-tone yarn. Â It starts out one color, and morphs into another color. Â The yarn is Transitions by Gypsy Girl Creations, colorway Poconos. Â I bought it locally in Prior Lake, MN, at the Twisted Loop yarn shop. Â Pattern is Cat Bordhi’s basic sock on two needles — my favorite (from Cat’s book “Socks Soar on Two Needles”).
My other project is the Aestlight Shawl/neck wrap by Gudrun Johnston (pattern available on Ravelry). Â Yarn is Knit One, Crochet Two’s Crock-O-Dye, Color is 559.
Last night I ripped out the lace section because it didn’t look the same on the two sides of the point. Â It still doesn’t look 100% right, but I figure I will just loop it around my neck and hope for the best! Â And who knows, maybe it will block out (sort of like wavy quilt tops quilting out)!
I also had a chance to look for dragonflies in the wildflowers behind our house, and I’ve never seen so many! Â I’m sure it’s because of the wet, wet spring we’ve had. Â Just a couple of pictures, and I haven’t taken the time to figure out what kind they are, but they were fun to watch!

I really like that last shot! Great detail!
Love your socks. Great color morphing too. Those dragonflies are awesome. You must have a great camera to get such a good picture.
Love both yarns and both patterns! Great dragon fly photos also!
Beautiful yarn I’ll have to look on the map where Prior Lake is on my next trip to MN.
I love that crock-o-dye project. That yarn is so soft and perfect for a shawl project. I made one and gave it away, so now I bought another skein and hope to make another this time for me!
