Fair Wrap-Up

This quilt reminds me that I want to make a two-color (two fabric) Hunter’s Star quilt one of these years.  Probably not this year though…

And please excuse the photo quality — this quilt was close to the doorway so we have the sun and shadow effect!  This Postage Stamp quilt was very appealing.  I can’t tell for sure, but it looks like the fabrics might be ’30s reproductions.  And notice the “border” of lighter squares (that’s not just a strip of light-colored fabric).  So charming and vintage looking.  I DEFINITELY won’t be making this one any time soon, but maybe some day.  I certainly have the scraps for it!
