What’s on the Needles?

Okay, I know this is a knitting post and I uploaded a quilt picture to Judy’s blog…

I’m following along with Judy L’s Friday knitting report.  The last time I reported was mid June, and I’m not any further along now, almost two months later!  With the cooler weather coming, though, I want to get back into knitting.

Jenni K, owner of the new knit shop at the Prior Lake Library, The Twisted Loop, has a sock-of-the month program.  I think it’s time for me to move on to more intricately patterned socks instead of always doing the same basic one!  I’ve ordered the book, and the sock class meets the last Saturday of the month…details are HERE about 80% of the way down the page.  $30 plus book for three months.  Jenni also has a page on Facebook you may want to follow her HERE.

Since I have no new knitting I thought I would post a quilty picture, since a post without a photo is like a day without chocolate.  Or red wine.  Or coffee.  This is a cute-cute-cute baby quilt my friend Pam made for her new granddaughter, and I quilted it for her:

and the back:

Well, I’m heading down the stairs to spend some quality time with “Elvis” –“Mr. Gammill” to you.  I plan to take a couple of breaks to look for bugs in the wildflower garden and to throw a chicken in the oven .  It’s going to be a lovely day in my neighborhood.
