Wednesday’s Puzzle

It’s been a LOT of Wednesdays since I posted a puzzle.  I’ve been looking for decent wild flowers behind us to photograph, and I just have to face it — summer has passed me by!

The cone flowers have taken on a pretty salmon color, although most of them are pretty black and dry as dust.  This summer’s heat has taken its toll on the flowers.  And on the bugs as well.  Most of the insects I saw were Asian beetles and soldier beetles.  Mating.  I am sparing you those images.
