Sue, how do you manage to find time to do all the things you do. You wear me out just reading and viewing all of your activities. Wonderful. I love the bird pictures. Here in Arizona we have hummingbirds and "dirty doves." Oh, a roadrunner did come to visit the other day and checked out our front porch and then went on his merry way. Interested in scorpions? We have plenty of those!!!! Cheers June

Aunt Sue,
Great shots of the Least Grebe. If you need the science, he is preening his back and tail feathers with the oil gland on his head.
Oh, and tell Robin a Grebe is a grebe. Not a duck. Like a swan is not a duck. But they are both birds that like to hang out on water.
Sometimes Robins are birds. But some Robins are definitely not Gertrudes.
Love, Bill

So I'm guessing that a grebe is a type of duck? I'm not up on my types of ducks- I can recognize a mallard and a muskovy which is not a particularly pretty duck but the babies sure are cute!
