20,000th Visit Give-Away!!!
September 10th, 2008 by Sue Hecker(9/15/08 The Give-Away is closed. Our winner is Linda!)
Sometime around 8:00 CDT last night, I had my 20,000th “hit” or visit! Certainly worthy of a give-away. As I am sure is true with most quilters, I have a full sewing room of items to choose from for my first-ever give-away. And as I am sure is also true with many people, I have a “gift shelf” of items I’ve picked up here and there, usually on sale, just to have a gift at the ready. And there they were — a pair of 8″ Gingher shears with the designer handles. I suspect they cleared these out because they’re probably last year’s handle design. For a little fun packing material, I’m also including one yard of the fabric I’ve already confessed to having bought miles of that I used in my Patchwork Times’ Labor Day Challenge. Plus I think the fabric and the scissors look fabulous together (and isn’t that what it’s all about???).
Here’s how to enter into the drawing. Since I’m giving away a duplicate of one my favorite tools (these Ginghers are wonderful), tell us about your favorite sewing/quilting tool, book, pattern, thread, pantograph (if you’re a longarmer), batting, doohickey – you get the idea. Make sure your web site or e-mail is available to me so I can contact the winner. You can add a post about the give-away on your web site if you wish, but it isn’t required. I’ll put your name in the bowl for adding a comment, and it’s only one entry per person. I’ll draw a name on Monday, September 15th. Good luck, and thanks for stopping by! (You might want to check back and see what other people’s favorites are too!)
Sue
