On the first Wednesday of the month, we DayStitchers exchange boxes. I’ve added a button at the top of my Web page where I can post photos of our blocks: Box Quilts.
This month I took home Cathy’s box. Cathy’s request is to make a heart block, but use no heart fabric. The colors are turquoise/purple/olive and white (which she has supplied). Any suggestions for a fun heart block? She hasn’t requested a specific size.

The Daystitcher’s Box quilts are just too cool! Wish I had a good suggestion for a heart for Cathy’s quilt. Only thing I can
think of is to applique a “family” of hearts that would be equal to the number of people in her family. I did a small piece once
where I layered three hearts in different colors together in the center of a block. Or you could make a wreath of hearts in olive
green and then make a flower from the white or the purple and add a turgoise bow. And that’s all I can think of
