Hi Sue,
Thanks for your comments on my blog. I always loved making the doorprize I gave away each month when the evening group,
Hearthside Quilters met at the church. I saw so many blogs doing giveaways and I thought - I would love to do that!
I knew people were reading my blog by the counter but I wanted to get some comments and it’s working!! The basket of
goodies I’ll be filling will really make somebody smile!

I have really enjoyed reading your blog - and seeing your work, and meeting your family, and seeing your cookies and vacations and hearing you speak of missing your Dad - and drinking a cuppa in his honor!
I’m from SoDak so feel we ‘could’ have been neighbors - except we moved to Texas after marrying in 1965 and doing a 3 year stint with Uncle Sam - including VietNam for DH.
Now we are considering NC since both of our daughters have settled there. It’s somehow not right to be such long distance grandparents!
