Quilt for an Hour — Day 2

I feel like I’m in school again, striving to keep up with my “homework”.

I finished today’s “assignment” of half the star-point blocks made using the light background.  They went together well.  My first time to use the TriRecs rulers, which I’ve had forever but never used before.

Colors are off in this picture.  Seems to be when I use the flash.  It washes it out too much, then have trouble getting it back.

The weather feels more like April right now, but we should be warming up a little more each day as we head towards the Memorial Day Weekend.  Wow.  Means May is almost over.

I don’t believe i have ever visited your blog before - I found yoru link on JudyL’s HAD column. ;)

I love your fabrics and that first finished block is a beauty! I can’t participate but it’s fun to follow along and watching everyone’s progress. Amazingly not all the ones listed have shared their HAD progress yet on their blogs…?

also my 3 year old Nora and I enjoyed your bird photos :) She and I just hung out two bird feeders last weekend after spotting both a male and female cardinal in our yard… however we have yet to see any birds eating from our feeders.

We have you bookmarked now and will revisit again soon.

Bonnie, thanks for visiting! I visited your site, and see you are busy raising young children. Kudos to you for finding time to quilt and blog and all the other things that pull at our time! I’m glad you enjoyed the bird photos. That’s really my favorite thing.
